ARBI FRY / ALVA MANDE BHAJJILE

This is simple and tasty recipe. You can have this Arbi Fry as starter or as side dish. The reicpe goes like this.

WHAT YOU NEED:

Arbi / alva mande - 1 1/2 cup, boiled and cut in round.

Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp

Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp

Asafoetida - 

Lemon Juice - 1 tsp

Curry leaves - 1 sprig

Onion -1 small, chopped

Tomato - 1 small, chopped

Cumin seeds powder - 1/2 tsp

Pav Bhaji masala - 1/2 tsp

Salt - to taste

HOW TO MAKE :

In a bowl, mix in boiled and cut arbis, Salt red chilli powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida and lemon juice. Mix well and keep aside for 10 -15 minutes.

Heat enough oil in kadahi and deep fry marinade arbis on high flame till it is brown and done. Remove.

Now take just 2-3 tsp oil in kadahi. Add chopped onion and curry leaves and fry till they change the color.

Add tomatoes, saute well till they become mushy. 

Then add cumin seeds powder, mix well and fry for few seconds.

Add pav bhaji masala, saute.

Now mix fried arbi and saute well that all the masala coated well enough.

Here You have already mixed salt and red chilli powder so no need of adding it again. If you feel it is less then add according to your taste.
