SAMBAR POWDER



I ALWAYS USED TO BUY THE SAMBAR POWDER FROM THE MARKET. BUT I WAS NEVER SATISFIED WITH THIS. I WAS THINKING OF PREPARING ON MY OWN. I CHECKED THE INGREDIENTS ON THE OUTER COVER OF BRANDED POWDERS. AND I TRIED MY OWN MEAUSREMENTS AND IT IS A BIG SUCCESS. SO THOUGHT OF SHARING THIS WITH YOU ALL

RECIPE:
RED CHILLY 2 CUPS
CORINADER SEEDS 1/2 CUP
JEERA 2 TBSP
CHANNA DAAL 2 TBSP
UDAD DAL 1 TBSP
METHIS SEEDS 1/2 TBSP
PEPPER CORNS 1/2 TBSP
MUSTARD SEEDS 1 TBSP
HING 2 BIG PIECES
HALDI 1/2 TSP
CURRY PATTA 2,3 SPRIGS
IN A LITTLE OIL FRY MUSTARD SEEDS AND HING
IN THE SAME PAN WITHOUT ADDING OIL FRY REMAINING INGREDIENTS ONE BY ONE
WHEN COOL MAKE POWDER OF IT AND STORE IT IN A AIR TIGHT CONTAINER...
